Atlantic Health System is seeking an experienced physician to lead as Chair of Radiology at Morristown Medical Center
Atlantic Health System (AHS) is seeking an experienced radiologist to lead as Chair of Radiology at Morristown Medical Center in northern NJ. This role will provide administrative, clinical and programmatic leadership for the Department of Radiology to ensure achievement of the clinical, research and educational goals for Atlantic Health System. Additionally, the Chair of Radiology will work in a collaborative manner with department, hospital and system administration and will promote standardization of radiology services across the system. The role includes an expectation to remain clinically active and maintain a high level of clinical credibility with the department.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will possess:
- Strong clinical leader with experience driving improvements in quality and safety
- A proven track record of physician leadership a ideally as Division Chief or Vice Chair
- Ability to provide ahands ona oversight to clinical and administration of all aspects of the Radiology Department
- Capacity to manage the quality and productivity performance measures for all attending radiologists facility the Department
- Aptitude to bring positive change and overall improvement to quality, research and education, fiscal management, team building and communications
About Morristown Medical Center (MMC)
- 693+ bed tertiary, research and academic medical center located in Morristown, NJ
- Radiology Department produces over 400,000+ exams in Plain, CT, MR, Pediatrics, IR, US, NM, PET & Breast Imaging for ED, IP and several outpatient satellite sites
- Jointly supports ACGME Radiology Residency Program with Overlook Medical Center a consists of 20 residents and 2 fellows
