Director of Echocardiography
The Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) , a division of Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, is recruiting a Director of Echocardiography to join our growing academic cardiovascular team.
Requirements:
- MD or DO Degree
- Cardiovascular disease (Board Certified/Board Eligible)
- Echocardiography (BE/BC)
- Level III training in echocardiography (Board Certified/Board Eligible) or Advanced Cardiac Imaging Training is preferred
- Academic experience in teaching residents and/or cardiology fellows
- Participation in clinical research is encouraged
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position
Our group is actively seeking a medical director of echocardiography to lead our active and growing lab. Our dynamic echocardiography laboratory oversees all cardiac stress tests, as well as imaging of structural heart disease, mechanical support devices, and a variety of cardiomyopathies. The group is seeking an energetic clinician who is looking to join an employed academic group model. Through the affiliation with Creighton SOM, they will join our faculty and be integrally involved in our cardiology fellowship. As clinical faculty they will oversee the training of future fellows, as well as medical students and residents at our academic health center. Clinical research opportunities are encouraged with support available.
