The selected candidate will join a team of EP cardiologists at a sophisticated heart program in Albany. Established in 1980, this highly regarded group is committed to delivering the highest quality, state-of-the-art cardiovascular care to patients through evidenced-based guidelines. With more than two dozen physicians and advanced practitioners treating patients across two hospital campuses, Albany Associates in Cardiology (AAC) offers a vast range of services, including general cardiology, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, vascular clinics, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart, and electrophysiology, including walk-in clinics.
Additional highlights:
Hospital facilities includes six cath labs with peripheral capabilities and one hybrid lab.
We provide full EP services, including all Device implantation, ablation for SVT, A Fib, VT, and Watchman implantation.
Active device clinic primarily run by APPs with EP physician oversight. Presently three board certified electrophysiologist's, active lab time and busy office schedules.
The group also provides medical directorship of St. Peter's Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness Program.

We have a strong cardiovascular physician practice presence in the Capital Region, which currently includes offices in Albany, Troy, Clifton Park and Glens Falls, NY.
Candidates interested in this opportunity should possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; Board Certification in Cardiovascular Diseases through the ABIM or AOBIM; and have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Electrophysiology.
