Summary:

Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla, New York, the major teaching hospital for New York Medical College, is seeking a General Internist to join the inpatient Hospitalist service. Westchester Medical Center Advanced Physician Services is a collegial group responsible for managing the inpatient services including rounding and teaching of residents and providing consultative services. The Attending will be part of an academic, multi-specialty group practice comprised of over 300 board certified hospital and office-based specialists throughout the region.

The hospitalist section is comprised of board-certified internists, including dedicated nocturnists, with weekend coverage shared by all members of the group. The candidate we seek must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, have 2-3 years of experience, and have a record of teaching and excellent clinical care; experience in research (health services, QI, clinical research) is desirable. This is a hospital-based position with comprehensive benefits, including malpractice and an academic appointment with New York Medical College, if appropriate.
